Job descriptions:

        1. Dental surgeon:

A Dentist, or Dental Surgeon, is responsible for performing oral surgery and routine cleanings on patients. Their duties include repairing and removing teeth, diagnosing conditions and communicating with patients about how to best care for their teeth and gums.

·         Fixing or removing damaged teeth

·         Filling cavities

·         Performing exams and evaluating x-rays to determine a patient’s health

·         Developing treatment plans to deal with any dental health issues

·         Administering or prescribing medications to decrease pain and improve patient health

·         Interacting with patients and instruct them on proper oral care

·         Measuring and fitting dental appliances

·         Referring patients to a specialist if needed 



2. Dental technician:

·         Restoring or replacing natural teeth by fabricating crowns, fixed and removable bridges, dentures, and dental implants.

·         Constructing dental prostheses for implantology and maxillo-facial reconstructions.

·         Receiving physical dental impression molds or computerized models from dental practices and studying dentists' instructions.

·         Encasing wax replicas of dental impressions with suitable mold materials.

·         Constructing prostheses and devices by replacing wax with plastic, metal, or ceramic materials.

·         Polishing and finishing dental prostheses and devices prior to placement by dentists.

·         Making adjustments to dental prostheses and devices before final placement.

·         Managing supply inventories, performing routine equipment maintenance and facilitating repairs.

·         Documenting processes, as well as adhering to industry regulations and safety standards.

·         Keeping informed of advancements in the field of dental laboratory technologies and techniques.

 

            3. Pharmacist:

·         Develop clinical pharmacy programs according to policies and regulations

·         Review records of patients to determine the appropriateness of medication therapy

·         Evaluate patient’s condition to ensure all issues are being treated

·         Identify untreated health problems and refer patients to appropriate physicians

·         Develop effective medication plans that minimize the risk of adverse side-effects

·         Consult on dosages, medication substances etc.

·         Advise on the correct administration of drugs

·         Assess the results of pharmaceutical treatments

·         Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care

·         Keep accurate documentation of medication plans and patient progress

 

 

Age limit: up to 35 years

Duty hours: 8 to 9 hours
