Job Purpose

Manage the production of SKU's with safety and quality, to contribute towards the site volume targets and to deliver and supply in full and on time to the person at the end of our supply chain.

Education Experience & Skills:

8 years or more in the managerial field in a pharm industry.

D-Pharm /Msc Chemistry degree.

Decision Making, Financial & Business Acumen, Teamwork, People management, Fundamentals of Safety & Quality

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop production strategies to achieve targets while utilizing resources for optimal output
  • Ensure that products are produced and stored in accordance with the proper documentation to comply the required quality standards.
  • Approve the instructions relating to production operations, including the in-process controls, and to ensure their strict implementation.
  • Ensure that the production records Include BMR and BPR are reviewed and signed by a designated person.
  • Ensure the annual and preventive maintenance plan for the department, including facility and equipment.
  • Ensure that the proper process validations and calibrations of all the equipment are performed as per defined frequency and recorded and all related documentation availability.
  • Ensure that resources required for production are available on time
  • Participate in the site leaders’ team and provide valuable inputs
  • Training /development of reporting teams and encouraging them for attending relevant learning's.
  • Support in Capex planning at site and support in execution of Capex spending plan.
  • Support in annual budgeting exercise and provide inputs regarding production standards, capacity requirements to achieve projected plans.
  • Ensure that risk assessment is conducted within the department and, identified risks are Uploaded in RMS and communicated to relevant stakeholders.
  • Develop potential future GSK leaders through coaching to team members appointed for FLP.
  • Improve by 25% for RN in key roles.
  • Effectively implement GPS, embed GPS culture within the department and, participate with team to achieve GPS targets.
  • Support investigations for incidents/accidents identifying root cause and ensuring appropriate corrective and preventive actions are implemented.
  • Effectively support to carry out both QMS and EHS LI Audits and support the team in L2, L3 & L4 audits.
  • Ensure appropriate CAPA's are being implemented for the audits.
  • Ensuring all local procedures (SOP, BMR & BPR) to be in line with all applicable GQP's, GQMP's and EHS Protocols
